The Phase 2 master facilities plan for the High Schools consists of major additions and renovations to both Thomas Worthington High School and Worthington Kilbourne High School, as well as capital planning for phase 3 of the master facilities plan.
The scope at Thomas Worthington High School includes the replacement of the fieldhouse and natatorium, new turf practice field, renovated interior athletic spaces, replacement of the academic wings with a large new addition to the front of the building, new entry way with courtyard, new theater and blackbox space, upgraded MEP and HVAC systems, and new administration offices.
The scope at Worthington Kilbourne High School includes renovated classrooms and interior athletic spaces, completely new HVAC and MEP systems throughout the facility, new concession stands, turf upgrades for outdoor athletic fields, and other various interior renovations.
This combined project is $185M and will renovate/build 300,000sf.
