This new building complex serves multiple functions under one roof including student life, The College of Business, campus bookstore, food services, student services, mail and copy center, and gathering space “hangar”. The configuration and juxtaposition of the building reinforces the newly formed “green” which acts as an extension of the Union to provide a formal connection to the campus.

The Student Life Center encourages social interaction by offering comfortable interior and exterior spaces for various activities. The Central Gathering Place is broken into different zones to support multiple program functions. The bookstore was designed to reflect successful retail planning strategies. The College of Business offers its own unique entry and occupies the entire upper floor, including classrooms along an open corridor with clerestory lighting for work sessions and study groups. The complex also offers full-service kitchen and dining facilities.
