The Poindexter project was a neighborhood revitalization initiative involving the redevelopment of brownfield sites located on the near East side of Columbus in the historic Poindexter neighborhood. The project consisted of 36 garden and townhome style buildings and a multi-use building for a total of 172 units. The multi-use building contains leasing offices, community space and a fitness facility. The multi-use building also has 3 unique live work units allowing the resident to operate a small business with a store front out of their home. Other site amenities included large lawn spaces, 3 playgrounds and a large community patio with tables and benches to allow community interactions.
